I had the fortune of knowing Jack for many years. He was a wonderful friend. He will be missed by family and friends.
Not many people knew Jack was one of the first members of The 7-up Club. We had some great parties!
We were Cub Scouts together. Lots of great times there too.
May he rest in eternal peace.
Buddy
Jack and I were at Central together, but I never knew him well til I met Carl Creger at Hendrix . We often double dated with Jack and Nancy , served in each others’ wedding parties, and since Jeff was born about the same time as our Christy, our two children became friends as toddlers. He dearly loved Nancy and took such good care of her as her health worsened over the years, Hopefully, Jeff and Amy, you are aware of how proud your dad was of both of you. For years, we lost touch, but one day I ran into Ann Crow and learned she was seeing Jack and I invited them to dinner back in 1994 after I married George Buck. From that time to this February, Jack enriched our lives with his humor, kindness, compassion, positive attitude, interesting stories of his life’s experiences and his sweet and gentle nature. He truly was “one of a kind” I feel so fortunate to have been his friend. Virginia Buck
So sorry to learn of Jack's passing. I knew Jack thru Heritage Seekers Genealogy Club and Arkansas Pioneers. He was such a nice person and so friendly. He will be missed.
I meet Jack at the Southwest community center where he played bean bag baseball. He always had such a positive attitude and a great smile.
Jack was such a friendly and funny man. Our family grew up in the same neighborhood as his wife Nancy Perciful. I ran into Jack frequently over the years at different restaurants. The last time I saw Jack was about a year ago at Buffalo Grill where we met Ann. Back in the 70’s we would get together with my sister and her husband and we would all play Trivial Pursuit. Jack always won. RIP Jack.
Jack was such a fine person. He was so funny, too! I met Jack when Nancy and I worked at the Housing Authority. I didn’t have a car and Nancy was kind enough to take me to work everyday. I couldn’t cook and she was an excellent cook who would type out her recipes on notecards for me! Jack supported her in everything she did! I grew to love them both equally. My condolences to Jack and Nancy’s family.
Love you. Praying for rest
I was saddened to learn of Jack’s death in this morning’s paper.
I had the good fortune to meet Jack a number of years ago in a writing class at Lifequest. He wrote wonderful stories that were often about his family, especially his dear wife Nancy.
We had some great times recounting frequent visits to Perciful’s Drive-In back in the day-best hot dogs ever!
I would see Jack every now and then at Black Angus. Seems we still enjoyed similar cuisines.
He was a lovely man and I extend my deepest sympathies to his family.

Jack was a close friend of our family. I very much appreciated his counsel and kindness when our mother died. Jack was a true friend in the best sense of the word.
Jeff and Amy
My deepest sympathies to you and your families during these sad days. Jack and I were high school friends and more recently part of a small group that met for birthdays and reminiscing our days of glory when our bodies worked! He was such an accommodating and gentle soul and I know he will be greatly missed.
Jack was the link-pin of our ‘61-‘62 Central High cruising gang. We made hundreds of University Ave - downtown drive-in circuits in his ‘53 Ford named “Buckskin”. He was a student, a later a man of superior wit. Godspeed my friend.
Jeff and Amy, though we've never met, I feel as if we have because your Dad was always talking about you and his grandchildren. It was no secret how much he loved all of you. There aren't enough adjectives in the dictionary to describe Jack Perciful, but a few come to mind: kind, smart, gentle, God fearing, considerate, sweet, generous, history loving, fun AND funny, one of God's most faithful servants, and very much an empath. One day a couple of years ago he and Ann picked me up in Sheridan and took me to the airport in LR for my flight back to Texas. I had just buried my favorite uncle. We found a neat place to go eat before my flight and Jack's calmness and kindness...as though he could feel my pain...just kind of got to me. I started crying, telling him that I was awful at expressing my feelings to the people I love, but I wanted him to know that I did, in fact, love him (he had been a crowd favorite in my family for 14 or 15 years), then Ann cried, then Jack cried. It was a beautiful moment that I'll never forget. Though he has gone on to a place we all hope to one day be, he will never be forgotten. I just realized I've also lost my favorite baseball buddy...Jack and I could cut it up about baseball and I loved every minute of it. Also, Jerry, he talked a lot about you and I was always interested in hearing about unique things you sold in your shop. And to my dear Aunt Ann, my sympathy goes out to you because I know you are going to be lost without your wonderful friend and companion. I know you loved him dearly. I'll be praying for everyone. Love, Jo Lynn
Worked with Jack for many many years in the electrical industry- truly a gentleman and what most would say one of the “good guys”, always positive and willing to help with anything, he will truly be missed and never forgotten.

I am a friend of your Dad's from St. Theresa. I would substitute on his church money counting team. That is just one of places where he helped out his church through the years. Your Dad was one of the good guys that is hard to replace. I pray for God to help mend your broken hearts.
Amy, I'm so sorry for your loss. I have met few others as generous and kind as your father. Always a smile and a wave when we saw each other. Heaven has received another angel.

Robert and I are part of a Friday night dinner group with Jack. He always told great stories. We know from these stories that he loved his family and history, and telling stories about them. He is one of the nicest people you could ever know. We will miss him, but we know that he has been welcomed in heaven.
I’m so sorry to hear of Jack’s death. He was always close to our family. I know he is at peace with your mom.
Best wishes to all.
Amy and Jeff - We were so sorry to hear about your dad. He and my husband, Joe have been friends for a long, long time. They were friends in junior high and high school. We were friends of your mom and dad early in our marriage. They were card playing friends of ours. We all lived in Wakefield. Those were some fun times. Your dad and Joe worked together at Keathley Patterson Electric. Even years later, their high school friends would get together for birthday lunches and we would all get together at Christmas. Your dad was an awesome friend. Praying for both of you as you grieve his loss.
Jack has been my "EVERYTHING" for the last 15 years. We go back to age 6 when we had a dance recital at Robinson Auditorium, "1 Jack and 8 Jills". We also graduated from Little Rock Central High School in 1962. God please take care of this wonderful man.
Lonnie & I are so sorry for the loss of a great man. He has been our friend for many years. He was a proud member of the Civil War Roundtable of Arkansas and a past President. He will be surely missed.
I knew Jack from his days selling his products to Munsey Products. A very fine Man indeed.
Jeff and Amy,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this time of grief. Your father was always a good friend to the Gallagher family, especially our Mom. I will always remember your parents fondly.
