Robert Glenn ''Bob'' Roberts, age 72, of Skiatook and former resident of Wynne, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at the Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa.
Bob was born November 5, 1951 in Wynne, Arkansas to Joe A. and Willie Mae (Cannady) Roberts. Bob grew up and received his education in Wynn, Arkansas where he graduated high school in 1969. Bob married Sandra Kaye Dearing on May 26, 1973 in Wynne, Arkansas where they made their home until moving to Benton, Arkansas and then to Skiatook in 2022 where they have made their home since that time. Bob was employed with Landers Toyota in Little Rock, Arkansas where he was a parts wholesaler. Bob loved playing his guitar and writing music. Bob was instrumental in the New Life Church in Wynne where he was the worship leader. Bob was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan, Bob loved his animals, especially Macie Ree.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Willie Mae Roberts; two brothers, Joe Roberts Jr. and his wife, Jessie and William Roberts and his wife, Mary and by one grandson, Joshua Neal Britton.
Bob is survived by his wife, Sandra; sons, Chris Roberts and wife, Holly and Robbie Roberts and wife, Kerry; seven grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan, Gracy, Elly, Caleb, Baylor and Piper; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 8, 2024 and services will be at 11:00 a.m., both at the New Life Church in Wynne, Arkansas. Interment will follow in the Harris Chapel Cemetery in Wynne Arkansas under the direction of the Roller Citizens Funeral Home.
