Judith (Judi) Smith Webb, a resident of Marion, AR passed away peacefully Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024. She was born on Aug. 15, 1948 in Union, MS to the late Buddy and LaVerne (Gibbs) Smith. She was 75 years old.
Judi received her Master of Education from the Mississippi University for Women and taught history for 40 years. She met the love of her life, Harry J. Webb, on a blind date in 1979 and they were married six months later. They moved to Helena, AR where they grew their family and then moved to Marked Tree, AR in 1993 where they became members of St. Norbert Catholic Church. She lived there until moving to Marion, AR in 2019.
Judi was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, teacher and friend who always put her family first. She was the epitome of a Southern woman and could have given Emily Post a run for her money on etiquette. She loved and looked forward to her annual family trips to the horse races in Hot Springs and the Destin beaches. Growing up in Mississippi, she rooted for the Bulldogs but also loved cheering for the Razorbacks… when they were winning. She was a self-proclaimed solitaire champion, loved a Blue Bloods marathon and truly thought her grandchildren hung the moon.
Judi is survived by her three children, Josh (Ellen) Webb of Jonesboro, Burke (Meg) Webb of Marion, Ann Marie Webb of Conway; two grandchildren, Lily and Levi Webb of Marion and her beloved shih tzu, Chuy. Judi was preceded in death by her husband, Harry J. Webb and parents, Buddy and LaVerne Smith.
Visitation for Judi will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 9th followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 411 N. Missouri St., West Memphis, AR.

We are so sad to hear this news. Harry and Judy and we were together so much while we were all dating. Mercy we had so much fun. Lots of parties and good food and hummm drinks. We have fond memories of both your parents. Prayers that the Angels will carry sweet Judy into heaven. Amen.
