Doris Clay Wilkey, 79, of Bono, AR passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was born on October 1, 1944, in Pulaski County, AR to C.E. and Lexa Clay. Doris attended Joe T. Robinson High School in Little Rock, AR. She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone and was of the Christian faith. Her favorite thing was loving her grandchildren.

Doris is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Eugene and Tony Clay; and sisters Carolyn Monday, Shirley Callan, Freda Hinerman, Linda Hinerman, and Diana Robertson.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 34 years, Robert Wilkey; son Gary Clay (Sharon); grandchildren, Mallory Elliott (Matthew), Ashley Morris (Zeke), and Tyler ''TJ'' Clay (Macey Couch); great grandchildren Hudson, Harley, Wrenley, Halden, and Henson; and a host of friends, family and loved ones.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, beginning at 12:00 pm at Martindale Cemetery 42600 Highway 10 Bigelow, AR 72016.

Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.
