Dolores Sexton, born June 26, 1941, passed away on January 26, 2024, in Memphis, Tennessee. She was 82 years old.
Dolores was born to parents William Woodrow and Hazel E. Webb in Guin, Alabama. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Marion Baptist Church. Dolores loved to read.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Anita Faye Bell.
Surviving Dolores is her daughter, Lola King Mounce; grandchildren Dustin S. Mounce (Jessica), and Lana P. Mounce; and great grandchild Everleigh Faye Mounce.

Mr. Web & Delores were our precious neighbors years ago when we lived right by them. You could not find finer people. They always got excited when I cooked a meal for them, which I enjoyed doing. She always shared a cold canned coke with me.
When Mr. Webb passed, Delores moved in with her sister, then eventually moved into a retirement community.
I didn’t know she was ill, as we got out of touch. Her hearing was bad, so we were no longer able to talk on the phone. But for about a month, I have had her on my mind so heavily. I searched obituaries & searched, Find A Grave. I located her parents grave & hers. Her headstone didn’t have a date of death ( at that time) so I was relieved. Her Daddy took the best care of her and made sure her headstone was in place for the day she would meet Jesus. She’s with Jesus now!!
