I knew Bob hom from his days at Mass Merchandisers. At the time I worked for Pfizer, and MMI was one of out largest customers. But Bob was much more than that to me. He was my friend
I always admired his humble nature and willingness to mentor others.
It was truly a privilege and an honor to know him.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Bob was one of the first employees of MMI who I met and later worked with. He was so good to help me with everything. He was a “gentle giant”! I’ll always appreciate our friendship.

Iva and family so sorry for your loss. We all thought a lot of Bob. We will miss seeing him out and about.
Iva, I was at funeral home last night and saw Bob’s picture. I ask if his wife was Iva but the fellow didn’t know. He was not ready for viewing. I got the obituary from funeral home today and learned you have a wonderful family of support. It is hard but may God give you comfort and strength. We go along way back but have never forgot our good times together. Only times I saw you since was Valley Springs reunion. Be strong in the faith. God loves you!
Iva & family, I am deeply sorry for your loss. I so enjoyed Bob and I’ve dearly missed our impromptu conversations on “the road” since I left Hopewell. He had a welcoming way about him and a philosophical wit. I never failed to leave those conversations without a good laugh and a bit of wisdom. The angels gained a good one. Love you guys!
I had a warm, inviting and interesting conversation with Bob about working the farm, long ago. I'm forever grateful for that.

I will miss uncle Bob. Gary Don has fond memories of him and his chickens. I always enjoyed sitting beside him at family reunions! He had a wit about him. He watched people. He would study them for awhile ....think for awhile...then he would quietly make a comment and never smile when he did but his comments were very comical! He never said a whole lot but I really enjoyed what he said. He will be missed!
