I loved big Sammy Henderson. We have known each other for over 60 years. We both were suspended from high school(twice) for fighting with each other, in the classroom. Yet we have remained friends, til the end.Over distance and time. R.I.P. Big Sam !!????

To Jewell and Sammy's entire family, I am so sadden to send my condolences. I knew Sammy and Jewell and their parents all of my life as I too grew up in Parkin. I left there in 1965 so many years and many miles away from my Parkin friends but it is still hard to say goodbye in death of my childhood friends. God Bless all of you and remember Sammy is in Paradise now and in no pain. I pray each of you remember only love, laughter and fellowship with your dear Sammy.
Now you are resting my friend. You will be missed by many

My deepest sympathie to his wife and children, and all our family will miss him deeply he’s loved deeply. My prayers for comfort in your family loss.
My heartfelt sympathy to Sam’s wife and family. I am his second cousin. His father and my grandmother, Iona were brother and sister. To my best recollection, I haven’t seen him since we were children at our grandparents house in Cabot. I’m so happy to have gotten reacquainted with him by FB these last couple of years. He messaged me some and we shared some family history and old photographs. I really enjoyed all of his posts he shared with beautiful flowers and animals. My love and prayers for each of you for peace and comfort from the Lord. I understand completely your loss having just lost my husband to Cancer 17 months ago. May the Lord bless and watch over each of you.
So sorry for your loss. Dale I’m thinking of y’all and praying comfort for y’all. He was a great guy. Enjoyed our trips to see y’all advance in your black belt stuff. All our fun times he was always a hoot.
