Charlene Hudson, age 93, of Jasper passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Countryside Health & Rehab in Jasper. She was born July 18, 1930, in Alpena, Arkansas to Charlie Warren Webb and Mary Elizabeth "Biles" Webb.
Charlene was a member of Jasper First Baptist Church and was married to CB Hudson for 63 years until he passed in November 2009. She worked several years in the Newton County clerk's office and enjoyed being a homemaker and caring for her grand and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, and spending time with her friends, who always held a special place in her heart, Fred and Verba Bell, Bo and Cassie Cook, Robert and Edna Burdine, as well as Sib and Ruby Lee McCutcheon. She was a loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Benton and LeAlice Hudson, Freda James of Jasper; five grandchildren, Caysi Bell, Stephanie Mallett (Kyle), Charlie Brewer (Kory), Paige Hudson and Cody Hudson (Tasha) and eight great-grandchildren, Lynlee, Lorelai, Ellee, Stevie, Jerron, Landon, Stetson and Caraline.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, C.B. Hudson; son, Stephen Lee Hudson and brother, Roy Webb.
Visitation was on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Service was at the funeral home with Levi Hudson officiating.
The interment will be in Jasper Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Benton Hudson, Charlie Parker, Kyle Mallett, Kory Brewer, Cody Hudson, and Geral James.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. Charlene was an amazing lady. She will be missed by many here on this side of heaven but we know the hugs on the other side were longed for. Heaven is a bright and beautiful place she work hard to enter.

All so sorry to learn of Charlene's passing! But oh what a time she is having in her new body up in heaven. I've known her all my life and she was always kind to me and my family. I pray that the Holy Spirit comforts everyone during this time of earthly sorrow. Hold fast we shall meet her again!
