Mr. David Stevens, age 76, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024 in Mountain Home. Born on September 29, 1947 in Ypsilanti, MI to Charles and Alice (Macintosh) Stevens, David's life was characterized by dedication, service and love.
David devoted over 40 years of his life to the noble profession of millworking. He worked diligently at the Hardy Salt Factory, Ranger Boats and Microplastics before embracing a well-deserved retirement. His commitment and hard work left an indelible mark on the industry.
A man of deep faith, David found solace and purpose in his love for the Christian Church. He cherished his role in supporting and helping his church friends, often expressing, "I am just giving back to the Lord". His generosity and compassion touched the lives of those around him, leaving a lasting impact on the community he held dear.
David's journey in life took a significant turn after high school when he enlisted in the Army. It was during his service that he met the love of his life, Mary. Together, they built a beautiful family, blessed with a son, Charles Stevens (La) and a daughter, Charlene Stevens. David was a loving grandfather to David, Kat and a proud great-grandfather to Emma.
He is survived by his sister, Dorothy Kuenzer and numerous nieces and nephews who will carry fond memories of their beloved uncle. David is preceded in death by his parents; his devoted wife, Mary Stevens, with whom he shared 50 years of companionship; one brother and three grandchildren.
As we bid farewell to Mr. David Stevens, let us remember the legacy of a man who lived a life of service, love and devotion. May his soul find eternal peace and may the memories of his warmth and kindness continue to inspire us all.
