Glenn G. Ryals, 75, of Maumelle, AR, passed away on January 8, 2024. He was born to the late Glendon and Lucille Ryals on October 29, 1948. He was predeceased by his paternal and maternal grandparents, and a sister, Patsy Farquharson. He is survived by Sammye, his wife of 41 years, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and special friends, Rick, and Sherry McNight.
Glenn graduated from Hall High School before attending State College of Arkansas, where he received a B.S. in Psychology in 1971. He then attended Northeast Louisiana University before graduating with an M.S. in Psychology.
Glenn worked at the Arkansas State Hospital as a Psychological Examiner for sixteen years before joining GAIN (Greater Assistance to those In Need), an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program in 1990. Glenn joined GAIN at its inception, providing intensive case management to individuals suffering from debilitating mental illnesses. He retired from GAIN in 2017.
Glenn was a loving and caring man. He enjoyed helping others, especially those he loved. I miss you, Glenn.
It was Glenn's wish to be cremated. A memorial service will not be held at this time.

Worked with Glenn most of my working years, including many years at GAIN. He was a true professional & a joy to be around. Just a super nice person who will be missed for all who knew him. Our deep condolences to Sammye & all his family.

We are saddened to hear of Glen’s passing. Our prayers and hearts are with all who were close to him. Too many years have gone by since I (Richard, his first cousin) have seen him. But I remember fun times when we were children, having been born only 17 days apart. May God give you comfort during this sad time.

So sorry to hear that Glenn has passed away. I have good time memories of the adventures Glenn, Rick and I experienced during our times together at Hall High and at SCA. My sincere condolences for his family and friends, for their loss.
