Nan Katherine Prentice, 80, of Palestine, Arkansas passed away peacefully Monday, January 8, 2024. She was born April 11, 1943 to Bob Hammock and Sue Mason Hammock in Dyess, Arkansas.

She is survived by two sons, Tim Prentice, Ken Prentice both of Palestine, Arkansas; one daughter, Susie Smith (Danny) of Blytheville, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Tim ''T.J' (Gustavo) Martin of Miami, Florida; Chris Martin (Jenn) of Osceola, Arkansas; Josh Prentice (Kassidi) of Elaine, Arkansas; Coty Martin of Blytheville, Arkansas and Richie Prentice Jr. (Brittany) of Marianna, Arkansas and sixteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bobbie Prince of Lepanto, Arkansas, Ruby Jewell of Paris, Tennessee and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, W.L. Prentice; one son, Richie Prentice Sr.; one grandson, Timothy Prentice and three sisters, Sue Allen, Nadine McClain and Mary Godsey.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Whitehead, Trent Felton Jr., Blaine McCoy, Jimmy Stacks, Caleb Jones, Jeremy Ball, Kent Clemons, Allen Hicks. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Martin, Chris Martin, Coty Martin, Josh Prentice, Richie Prentice Jr.

Services for Nan will be held Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas with Brother Tim Sparks officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will follow services at Marianna Memorial Park in Marianna, Arkansas.
