Mary Ann Gronwald, 90, a resident of Paris, passed away Monday, January 8, 2024 in Little Rock. She was born November 7, 1933 in Paris to the late George J. and Frances (Zimmer) Zeiler.
Mary spent her working years at Warren Shoes. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris. In her spare time, Mary enjoyed serving as a member of the Logan County Extension Homemakers Club, quilting and vegetable gardening.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by husband, John H. Gronwald; a son, Jon H. Gronwald and a brother, John K. Zeiler.
Survivors include two sons, James H. Gronwald and wife, Kelly of Prescott Valley, Arizona and Joseph Gronwald and wife, Lana of Kailua, Hawaii; a daughter, Jackie Wilkinson and husband, Clark of Maumelle; a daughter-in-law, Denise Gronwald of Garland, Texas; nine grandchildren, Adam Gronwald and wife, Rachel, Aaron Gronwald and wife, Whitney, Alayna Robb and husband, Kyle, Jessica Bentley and husband, Steven, Ashlea Yager and husband, Nehemiah, Hunter Gronwald, Katie Walker and husband, Mark, John Wilkinson and Victoria Gronwald; 12 great grandchildren and a brother, George J. Zeiler of Paris.
A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 01, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris with burial at Fort Smith National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 1,2024.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
So sorry to hear about Mary Ann. She was a good friend and sister-in-law. I and my family will miss her. All of my memories of her are happy ones.
Mary Ann was a beautiful person! She had a lovely smile and a positive outlook. God Bless her family, she loved you dearly!
