Stephen H. Martin, 57, of Sidney passed away Monday, January 1, 2024.

He was born March 26, 1965 in Batesville to Norman and Alla Jean (Miller) Martin.

Stephen was a member of Ruddell Hill Baptist Church and was a Mason. He worked for eleven years at Convergent Technologies as a low voltage electrician. He also installed and serviced ATMs and security systems. Stephen was a happy go lucky person who enjoyed helping his friends and loved his family. He was a caring man who enjoyed working on his farm, enjoyed his cows and loved to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed messing with electronics, riding motorcycles and racing dirt bikes.

Survivors include one son, Joseph Martin of Sidney; one daughter, Autumn Martin of North Carolina; his father, Norman Martin of Batesville; one niece, Jennifer Gianni and one nephew, Jeff Jones.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Alla Jean (Miller) Martin and one sister, Vicki Marie Jones.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made in his honor to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
