of Yellville, AR
February 16, 1942 - January 1, 2024
Johnny Earl Copeland went home to be with our Lord on January 1, 2024.
He was born February 16, 1942 in Harrison, Arkansas to John and Vesta Copeland. He is preceded in death by his father, John Copeland; mother, Vesta Copeland; brothers, Arkie, Jessie, Bill, Gene, James and Alton and sisters, Christine and Maudie.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Shirley Copeland; daughters, Brenda Woody and her husband, Michael, Debbie Davis and her husband, Jeff; his grandson, Jordan Woody; granddaughters, Amber Mills, Kelli Eberhard (Javan) and Kayla Rawlins (Dalton); great granddaughters, Darby and Sophia; great grandsons, Jeremiah, Luka and Rhodes, along with two sisters, Wilma and Dorothy.
Johnny never met a stranger, loved to fish, whittle, collect knives, fix small engines, his daughters, grandchildren and especially his wife. He loved a good joke, telling them and hearing them. He had the right answer to most any question you could think of and never said anything unless it was funny, sweet or kind.
He will be greatly missed by those who love him and will be cherished through the memories of adventures he would take his children and great children on. As well as lessons learned from his endless handy knowledge and jokes that he shared.
There will be a Celebration of Life held at Fred Berry Crooked Creek Nature Center in Yellville, AR (851 Conservation Ln) on Saturday, January 6th from 1-4 P.M.
Arrangements by Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas.
