Frank Moffatt Nixon, age 79, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023 at his home.
Frank was born in Memphis, Tennessee on November 17, 1944 to Frank and Jimmie (Moffatt) Nixon. He had lived in the area for the past 48 years, coming here from Memphis. He was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Yellville. He worked for Ranger Boats for 17 years and for Champion Boats until they closed. He then worked for Harp's Food Stores for many years until his retirement. He was a United States Army veteran of Vietnam. He loved to make things by turning wood, such as pens and bowls and turned it into a business Frank's Pens and More. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Mr. Nixon is survived by his wife, Cynthia ''Cindy'' of the home; his daughter, Jody Fasko (Steve) of Long Grove, Iowa; his sons, Tim Neal (Lisa) of Poway, California, Eddie Finley (Leslie) of Flippin; his brother, Randal Nixon (June) of Byhalia, Mississippi; his sister, Gwen Nixon of Byhalia, Mississippi and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be 1:00 2:30 pm Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville.
Funeral Mass will be 3:00 pm Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church
Interment with military honors by the United States Army will follow at Fairview Cemetery near Flippin.
Pallbearers will be Tim Neal, Toby Neal, Katy Neal, Melody Neal, Kenneth Higgins and Steve Fasko
