Prayer for the family. I will miss him he was an awesome Teacher!
It is no secret what Mr. Green meant to so many people. I had the pleasure of being in the first class he sponsored while at Calico Rock. He helped raise us. He was a friend, teacher and parent all wrapped up in one. Well done thy good and faithful servant!!
Mr. Green was my mentor my first year of teaching at Calico Rock and helped me pass Praxis III which at the time was a requirement for new teachers. It’s no secret that he was loved and respected by the students and staff, but in my now 21 years of teaching, I don’t think I’ve seen this level of love and respect matched. I remember the late nights he would pull volunteering or decorating, drive home to Big Flat and do it again the next day. I’ll forever be grateful for his advice and friendship. I wish I had one last chance to thank him and say goodbye. My condolences extend to all of his family, friends and former students who loved him. I know he was proud of you all-especially his nieces and nephews!
