Romans 16:27- To the only wise God be the glory forever.
Randall Wayne Baker was born April 10, 1958 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Charles and Shirley Baker. Randy was 65 years old when he went to be with the Lord on December 10, 2023. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles H Baker.
He is survived by his wife, Toni Baker; their daughter, Ashe and her fiancé, Jordan Gribble; his mom, Shirley Baker; his brothers, Russell and wife, Penny Baker, Steve Baker and wife, Marla; his nephews Derek, Devon and Dustin Baker and JR Williams; his nieces, Lisa Beer and Nicole Beer; Mackenzie Wood and Courtney Johnson; 4 great nieces and 11 great nephews.
Randy wasn't a man of many words, but he was a man of God and a man who truly loved his family. He was committed to his family and lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed camping, trips to the beach, photography and in his younger adult days, he enjoyed cutting down Christmas trees in "one fell swoop".
He loved being a husband and boy, he loved being a father. He was married to the love of his life for 40 awesome years (we have pics to prove it). He worked for Kroger for 45 years. He was a man of dedication and a man of faith. Although he will truly be missed by many, he would want us to have peace in the fact that he went to be with the Lord and that he has left us with enough memories and stories to tell to keep his memory alive and to last us another lifetime.
Psalm 62:5 Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him.
Just herd about this , you all have my deepest sympathy. I worked with Randy and his wife at Kroger 632 for years and happy to call him them friends and always wondered where they went or was still with the company kinda lost track as I moved to another store and still today with the company 45 yrs later... praying for his loved ones and this is not goodbye Randy, its see you later.

Randy truly lit up the room with his smile. It was the reflection of Christ living in him. His quiet strength was amazing. You knew that you could count on him no matter what was happening to keep a level head. He was everything a wife would ever want. We’ve seen the proof. He was a marvelous father. He will be greatly missed until we see him again in heaven at Jesus’ feet.
I worked with Randy for many years, he was a very pleasant person to work with, last time we talked was in November we spoke of the 40 plus years we both worked for Kroger, he will be truly missed. God Bless his family
I was privileged to grow up and go to school with Randy at Bryant and fortunate to call him my friend. He was one of the people I truly enjoyed hanging around with at lunch and talking about all sorts of stuff. I will always remember him as a wonderful Christian man who had time to put up with some of my quirky ways. I had recently seen him at Kroger while working as a vendor in the store. We reminisced a little while before we had to get back to work. I will always be appreciative of his kindness and patience during our school days and for being my friend. But more than this, I am thankful this man of God was my friend. God Bless Toni and the rest of his family during this time. He has gone to a much better place. My prayers are with the family at this time.
Randy was always on top of things. As a Little Debbie Representative he was the best in the business. He worked with my mom I’m the early 80’s. He will truly be missed.
Randy was a wonderful person with a heart of gold. He made every day brighter. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Baker Family
My heart and prayers go out to yall. It is so sad to hear of Brother Randy passing. He is a Godly, kind man and always cracking a smile when he saw you. I have so many wonderful memories of him. I am so grateful for all his time and energy given to me and my girls teaching us about the Lord. Much love
It’s been some yrs since I worked with Randy at the 627 store. I was in that store some months back and we talked for awhile. We both hit it off being good friends right away and that was because we both loved talking about Jesus. When you meet someone like him he’s hard to forget. He was truly, truly a man that lived what he believed in. It will not be the same going in that store an me not seeing him. It’s so, so rare to see a true man of God these days that actually not just talk the talk but walks the walk Randy Baker was that guy. This is not the end for him but the beginning of his heavenly life. There are no words at all that can express the loss of such a great friend. We might have been different colors in this world but my Bible tells me we were brothers in the Lord. To the family, time will not heal this hurt because you will never forget him but God will heal.
Toni and Ashley
No words can express my sadness for you both. Knowing he is peacefully whole in the arms of Jesus brings you a sort of peace. I know you are sad and your hearts broken- only the one healer can provide the peace your heart will need to mend. To watch you and Randy’s love story is magical. I can only hope in the coming days weeks and months you can find a healing needed to pursue happiness. We know you will miss him terribly. Everyone will. Hugs and love for you all. Surround yourself with family during this time.

Thoughts and Prayers and Deepest Sympathies to Randy’s family from his Kroger family at 627.
I have been at Kroger for over 7 years and Randy has always been the kindest, most helpful person!
Every morning with a “here we go again” or “ are you ready for this?”(another day at Kroger)
No Randy… the answer is No!! Not ready for all the days at Kroger without your friendly face!! They may find another person to do your job but they will never find anyone that can fill your shoes! Your dedication to Kroger for 45 years, your work ethic, your knowledge and your kindness can never be replaced!
You will be forever missed!
Rest in Peace my friend.
