of West Memphis, AR
September 17, 1937 - December 3, 2023
Nell Grace Grisham passed away December 3, 2023 at the age of 86 after a long illness. She was born September 17, 1937 in Earle, Arkansas to parents, Rev. Noah Adams and Dovie Pannell Adams. She was married to Bobby Paul Grisham in 1969 and the two were able to spend the next 30 years together raising their own family until God called Bobby home in 1999.
Nell was a long-time member of West Memphis First Baptist Church and was a retired freight broker in the commercial trucking industry as well as a realtor. Nell loved spending time in her garden both tending to her vegetables and her flowers. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Nell is survived by her two daughters, Phyllis Middleton (Chad) of Overland Park, Kansas and Felicia Laws (Doug) of West Memphis, Arkansas. She will be deeply missed by seven grandchildren, Britney Chrisco, Lindsey Chrisco, Mallory Smith, Presley Chrisco, Chase Fisher, Jacey Eastham and Halley Eastham as well as one great grandchild, Jackson Paul Franks who was the apple of her eye. She was preceded in death by her parents; her faithful husband, Bobby; her two brothers, Buford Adams and Billy Ray Adams and her sister, Christine Pickard.
I have many fond memories of Nell. I knew one of her daughters, Phyllis, from way back when… memories of the Dairy Castle. Prayers for comfort for her daughters and grands during this time. We don’t grieve like those with no hope. For those that know Christ, it’s never good-bye, just a temporary pause until we meet again.
My deepest sympathy to the family. Nell was a part of my life for many years and a good friend. Sending prayers for comfort and peace during this difficult time.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ll miss seeing Ms. Nell on Facebook. Mr. Grisham was my high school teacher and I got to know Ms. Nell after that. Prayers for you all ??????
