Geneva Lee McCollum Cobbs, age 89, of Greers Ferry formerly of Little Rock, died December 2, 2023 at her home. Geneva was born September 15, 1934 in Neelyville, Missouri, the daughter of the late William Warren McCollum and Bertha (Dixon) McCollum. Geneva married the love of her life, Edward Irvin Cobbs on April 26, 1952. She worked at Remington Arms for a number of years and after her retirement, Geneva and her husband moved to Greers Ferry. Geneva loved finding new recipes to cook, quilting, working in her flowerbeds, going to flea markets and garage sales.
Geneva was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Roy, Willis, Larry, Jerry and William; sisters, Erma Dickson, Nettie Allen and Alice McFarland.
Geneva is survived by her husband of 71 years, Edward Cobbs; daughters, Pam and Joyce; three grandchildren, Ron (Elizabeth), Jennifer (Jason), and Kelly (Nathan). In addition, she is survived by eight great-grandchildren; brother Billy McCollum (Brenda) and sisters Roberta Braden (Floyd) and Shirley Leach and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A visitation will begin at 12:00pm on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home followed by services at 1:00pm. Graveside services will be 11:00am on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Pinecrest Memorial Park.

So sorry to hear about Aunt Gene. She and Uncle Irvin are two of my favorite relatives. My God help ease you pain as you continue on lifes journey.
