Daniel Thomas Storms, age 56, of Flippin, Arkansas passed away Monday, November 27, 2023 in Mountain Home.
Daniel was born April 14, 1967 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Thomas Michael and Pamela Ruth (Keefe) Storms. He had lived in the area for the past 8 years, coming here from Memphis, Tennessee. He was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Yellville. He was a member of Knights of Columbus, where he headed up and ran the Campaign for People with Intellectual Disabilities through the Tootsie Roll Campaign. He had been a member of the Memphis Chess Club and taught chess through the Memphis City Schools.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Sandra Nicole of the home; his father, Thomas Michael Storms; his mother, Pamela Storms of Mission, Texas and his sister, Julianne Rantala of Clarksville, Tennessee.
A Visitation with Rosary service will be 6:00 8:00 pm Thursday, November 30. 2023 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville.
The Funeral Mass will be 12:00 noon Friday, December 1, 2023 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Yellville.

Dan played a lot at our chess club. He was a fun guy, and will be missed. My condolences.
Growing up in St.Paul, Mn as kids we played football in the street, hockey, baseball on the corner living on the same block, all I can say to you now is rest easy my friend, your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
I'm so sorry for Your loss.
We spent good times traveling to Chicago more then a few times for chess.
I will miss him & think of him every time I travel for chess.
