Linda (Crossland) Lane, 70, a resident of Booneville passed away Thursday, November 23, 2023 in Fort Smith.
She was born September 4, 1953 in Wasco, California to the late Frank and Mary (Spears) Crossland. Linda married Richard Lane on February 15, 1969 in Alviso, California. She spent her working years as a cook, most recently at Mercy Hospital in Booneville. In her spare time Linda enjoyed most importantly spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies. Additionally, she enjoyed camping, casino trips and beach trips. Linda was a member of the Brooklyn Free Will Baptist Church in Ratcliff.
In addition to her parents Linda was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Crossland.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Richard Lane of Booneville; four daughters, Michelle ''Missie'' Trusty and husband, Ralph of Paris, Raileen Johnson and husband, Bill of Paris, Carrie Elliott and husband, Adam of Booneville and Kendra Myers and husband, Randy of Magazine; twelve grandchildren, Ryan Trusty, Ritchie Trusty, Tiffany Combs, Jessie Lane, James Plemmons, Taylor Clark, Jeremy Elliott, Kaylee Elliott, Cody Elliott, Gaige Myers, Dixie Myers and Carly Myers and a brother, Leroy Crossland of Phoenix, Arizona.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 30, 2023 at the Brooklyn Free Will Baptist Church in Ratcliff with the Rev. J.L. Bonds officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
