Velda was a devoted homemaker who loved her family dearly.
Velda attended UCA where she studied nursing. She was a fervent bible reader and had a love for the scriptures. She was a bible study and precepts leader for many years. Sharing the gospel and winning souls to the Lord was her ultimate purpose in life and this was recognized by everyone she encountered.

I am so sorry for your loss.
Dear Family, Velda was a friend of mine and I know she loved her family dearly. She also loved The Lord and wanted each of you to also. I enjoyed talking to her in the morning and afternoon when she brought the kids to the house and picked them up when they were young. She had lots of mountain tops and her share of valleys to walk through. Now she can rest in the arms of her Savior. Praying for each of you that God will give you peace and comfort in the days head.
