Elzie Leroy Peeples, 85, of Lexa, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. He was born in Cleveland, Mississippi on Saturday, July 9, 1938 to the late Elzie Peeples and Ara Lucille Peeples-Blake. Mr. Peeples worked with ADM for many, many years. He loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his two sisters, Margaret Smith of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Vivian Davenport (Mike Fogleman) of West Helena, Arkansas; one brother, Lewis Peeples (Susan) of Mountain Home, Arkansas and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Peeples; parents, Elzie Peeples and Ara Lucille Peeples-Blake; one brother, Lester Peeples and two sisters, Mary Wilburn and Evelyn Hicks.

Pallbearers will be Randy Davenport, Billy Davenport, Robert Seaton, Jeffery Peeples, Gene Wilburn and Donny Ginn.

Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Thompson, Raymond Thompson and Alfred Davis.

A graveside service for Elzie Leroy Peeples will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Central Cemetery. Brother David Vaughn will officiate. Burial will follow at Central Cemetery.
