Randal, David, Lisa, Marjorie, and all other family:
I am so sorry for your loss and am also sorry that I couldn't be there today with all of you. Sweet Aunt Jennetta was a wonderful lady with a keen sense of humor. Her real life stories always made me laugh, especially the Fairfield Bay Marina (boat dock) narrative. (You know the one I'm talking about, Lisa.)
As I think back to all the time our families spent together when we kids were growing up, so many memories come to mind...countless games of dominoes punctuated with popcorn, playing softball, cooking, canning, making crepe paper flowers...the list is endless. Even work was fun when Aunt Jennetta was involved.
I loved Aunt Jennetta. Even though I rarely got to see her after moving away, just knowing she was there was heartwarming. I will never forget her (and Uncle Bob). May your memories bring you comfort.
Love and hugs,
Lou Ann
Dear Lisa, David, Randal and your families,
I was so very sorry to hear of Aunt Jennetta's passing. I know she wasn't really our aunt, but she was like a sister to Mom so my siblings and I called her Aunt. I always enjoyed visiting with her when I made a trip back to Clinton. She was just like her mother in that she was a fount of historical information about the people and events of Van Buren County and the Pee Dee community. I will dearly miss her. Love to you all.
David, Tami and I had just spoken of her a few days ago,and remembered what a sweet and kind lady she was. I love the picture of her you used ,it allows her sweet spirit to shine though.God Bless you and all the family.
