Kenneth Howard Riggs, 83, of Dover died Friday, November 17, 2023 in Russellville. He was born May 29, 1940 in Dover to Howard Simpson and Maudie Earl (Cooper) Riggs. Kenneth was an avid outdoorsman, spending much of his time farming, hunting, fishing and camping. He served in the United States Army Military Police. Kenneth was also fond of watching Westerns and wrestling.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Maudie Riggs; one brother, Jim Riggs and one nephew, Jamie Riggs.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Nita Riggs; two sons, Kenneth W. Riggs and wife, Maryjean and Richard H. Riggs and wife, Amanda; four grandchildren, Emily, Ariana, Aiden and Bentley; four brothers, Billy Joe Riggs and wife, Wanda, George Riggs and wife, Ineva, Roy Riggs and wife, Sue and Ruben Riggs and wife, Juanita; two sisters, Elizabeth Seward and husband, Bob and Brenda Hutcheson and husband, Lee and numerous other family members and friends.

A visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, November 20, 2023 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 21st at the funeral home followed by burial at Owens Cemetery.
