As I'm writing this letter I just sit and think ….wow my life had changed in a matter of days. My family and I were just excited and welcoming you, I just knew you were going to be a boy…Momma's boy. I'm going to miss rubbing my belly, going to doctors appointments, listening to your heartbeat...mostly going to miss how hyper you were (the doctors couldn't to get you to stop moving for anything). In Jeremiah chapter 29 verse 11 it says ''For I know the plans I have for you,'' declares the Lord, ''plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.''
In Jeremiah, we learn that God has a great plan for every single one of us. For that plan to be fulfilled, we need to be around to see it. With the hope of this wonderful future in mind, we shouldn't give up because God's plan is better than anything we could have come up with ourselves.
I had a plan but God had a different plan for us. Jakobi, there has been times where I wanted to give up but I must stick around to see God's plan. I will never forget you, even if I have other children they will always know of their big brother Kobi.
