James "Jim" Anthony Fore, 78, of Jonesboro, AR passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Stuttgart, AR, on January 18, 1945, to James Fore Sr. and Lillian (Stipsky) Leath. Jim worked as a construction foreman for Frank A. Rogers before owning his own metal building business, but his most cherished profession was being a minister of God. Jim loved preaching the Word of God and was a member of Renewed Full Gospel Church. Some of his favorite past times were fishing, grilling, and he was a die-hard Redwolves football fan.
Jim is preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Linda; his mother; and brothers Gary and Eugene (Gene).
Left to cherish the memory of Jim are his daughters, Licinda Ohler and her husband Tim, and Karen Pierce; grandchildren Dwayne Ohler and his wife, Kristy, Nathan Ohler and his wife Faith Nicole, Kristen Faith Medrano and her husband Ronnie, Christian Pierce, Dustin Pierce, and Angel Guess; and great-grandchildren Kailey, Brayson, Malakye, Hallie, Bentlee, Asher, Fletcher, and Chevy Ohler, Jeremiah Medrano, Logan and Alyza Pierce, Brently and Alivia Pierce, and Massyn, Paislyn, and Lilly Guess.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Joe Guthrie and Wayne Hurst officiating.
Visitation will precede the service beginning at 1pm.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Dwayne Ohler, Nathan Ohler, Ronnie Medrano, Christian Pierce, and Dustin Pierce.
Arrangements are under the care of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.
Jim had a wonderful smile. My condolences to his daughters and my cousins. Prayers for all of you during this difficult time.
