Frances Harrell Adams, 95, was born December 2, 1927 to Edward Grandison and Willie M. Harrell in Craighead County, Arkansas and went to be with her heavenly Father Friday, November 3, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben L. Adams; two sisters, Amanda Ball and Mabel Stewart and two brothers, Talmadge Harrell and William E. Harrell.
Survivors are daughter, Lesia Ford (Mike) of West Memphis, Arkansas; son, John H. Johnson (Karen) of Memphis, Tennessee and stepson, Greg Adams (Gena) of Jackson, Mississippi.
5 Grandchildren, Hope Johnson Link (Steven) of Franklin, TN, Sarah Johnson Carter (Justin Bishop) of Germantown, TN, Gregory Adams (Erica) of Tacoma, WA, Matthew Adams of Austin, TX, Benjamin Adams of Jackson, MS and 7 great Grandchildren; Two nieces, Linda Stotts of Jonesboro, AR and Diann Senick of Fayetteville, AR and two nephews, Tony Stewart of West Memphis, AR and Phil Ball of Truman, AR.
In addition to her family, she loved her Church and Church family at First United Methodist Church in West Memphis, AR, where she was a member for 48 years. It was her loving nature and witness, to regularly deliver meals to those confined to home and to visit members and others in hospitals and nursing homes. She and her husband were active members of the Emmaus walk and many other Church activities. Her generosity will be remembered by many.
She was a licensed real estate agent in West Memphis and Marion for 30 years. She liked planting in her garden, dancing, crossword puzzles and being with family and friends.
Services will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at the First United Methodist Church, 215 N. Missouri St., West Memphis, AR. Visitation will be in the sanctuary at 10:00am with Funeral service to follow at 11:00am.
Burial will be in the Macey Cemetery at 2:00pm (north of Monette, AR).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the First United Methodist Church, 215 N. Missouri St., West Memphis, AR. 72301.
I remember Mrs. Adams being so kind and sweet to everyone she met. Condolences to all of her family and friends.

Ms Frances was the last of the true ladies in our church. She is celebrating with many in their heavenly home. God bless you, the family, as you go through the weeks ahead. May her memories help you heal. I am so happy to call her a friend.
