Ricky Dale Copeland, 43, passed away on November 3, 2023. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
"Cornbread" as he was fondly called by friends and family was born on July 13, 1980 in Newport, Arkansas.
After graduation at MVHS, he attended Tulsa Welding School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He became a welder and enjoyed the career he had chosen. Throughout his career, he traveled to many states and made friends wherever he went. He was an easy going and loyal friend. He loved spending time with his family and friends, riding motorcycles with his MC Brothers and attending dirt track races.
He is survived by his loving partner, Ester Avery; parents, Dale and Nina Copeland; sister, Felicia Sisk (Lee); nephews. Trenton Tilley, Tristen Sisk; niece, Maci Kate Tilley and two self-adopted daughters, Jamie Ypya (Jeremy) and Christina Victory (Trevor).
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Hurl and Jewel Condrey and paternal grandparents, Percy and Ida Copeland.
A memorial service will be held on November 11, 2023 at 2:00PM in Blanchard Springs Amphitheater, Mountain View, Arkansas.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
