We now understand some of the challenges you faced, yet rarely saw you sad. We hope you realize the lives you touched; all the caring and understanding you have shared. Where did you hide your wings? For you must have been an angel sent from heaven above to show us the true meaning of love. The greatest compliment we could receive in this life is that we are wise and caring, full of love and understanding as you were before us.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James M. Maronge Jr; sister, Merle Behrens and stepdaughter, Maureen Thomson. She is survived by her loving daughter, Erin Holloway; grandchildren, James Hunter Holloway, Richard Weston Holloway (Lindsey), Emma Grace Holloway; Aimee DiCecco (Jody).
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Holy Name of Mary Church in Algiers, LA followed by burial at St. Bartholomew Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers please send memorials in Lorraine's name to The Center of Jesus Our Lord, New Orleans LA.
Arrangements by Roller-Chenal Funeral Home.
To know Grams is to love her! Her gentle kindness and that twinkle in her eye when she turned her head & smiled! She's simply the best, an absolute gem. So blessed that my path of life crossed with Gram's! ??
Our sincere condolences Erin. Remembering the great times we had at the camp and smiling. Those times and our Family ties will never be forgotten.
Love always,
Matt and Bonnie Harris
