of Mountain Home, AR

February 27, 1931 - November 3, 2023

Norman Graham Paige, born in Kawkawlin, Michigan, passed away November 3rd, at his longtime home in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at the age of 92. He leaves behind his precious wife, Betty Paige, of 70 years, and 8 children Michael, Mary, Sue, Chuck, Jim, Judy, Bob, and Patty. He was blessed with 32 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Norman worked as a contract engineer for Bechtel in 9 states and 3 foreign countries. He retired in Mountain Home in 1991 to hunt, fish, visit his children around the country, and eventually start a second career building multi-family housing here in Mountain Home.
In his last decades, the weekly family lunch, typically numbering around 20, between children, grandchildren, and family friends, brought him great joy and satisfaction, and he was fond of telling his wife "we've had a good life."
A visitation will be held from 7:00-8:00 p.m., at Roller Funeral Home on Friday, November 10. On Saturday, November 11, a Rosary will be recited at 9:15 a.m. with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend Norbert Rappold as celebrant, and it would annoy him greatly how that schedule cuts into the opening day of deer season.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Roller Funeral Home.

Lots of great memories when we were kids on the farm. All six of us went to the same two room country school that our Dad attended. We all graduated from high school and later raised families of our own. Norman was the most adventurous of the family and he and Betty raised the most children. He will certainly be missed.Love to you Betty and all of the family. I wish I could be there with you all now. Love and hugs to you all.

To my dear Grandpa, I love you and will always cherish the many many years and memories. My best is eating your olives out of your glass while sitting on your lap telling me stories of when you were little. You always started with “when I was a little girl.”
