Jimmy Paul Dunlap, 77, of Hensley, went to be with the Lord on October 31, 2023. He was born on August 21, 1946, in Scott, Arkansas, to William Ralph and Lorene Ferguson Dunlap. Jimmy Paul loved spending time with his family, singing and playing guitar. He was a truck driver his whole life. He was known for his sense of humor which came without even trying. A book could have been written just featuring his sayings.
For us and who knew him he was a LEGEND! The best Dad and Papa that will ever exist! His love for his family knew no bounds.
He is preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and sisters, and baby Joshua. Jimmy is survived by his wife, Jean Dunlap; four children, Amy (Jerry), Jason (Liz), Erik, Adam (Abby); grandchildren, Jacob (Melissa), Amber (Justin), Kayla (Eric), Greyson, Drake, Gregory, Ryleigh, Liam and baby to be; great-grandchildren, Luke, Spencer, Henry and Bear; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm, Friday, November 3, 2023, in the chapel of Roller-Drummond Funeral Home with graveside services following 2 pm, Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Woodson Cemetery.

I remember the Dunlap Family very well from our days at Scott, AR. George and I were about the same age. Very good people. My heartfelt condolences to the Dunlap family.

The world lost a great man and Papa and it will never be the same. I hope to someday be 1/2 the Papa that Jim was.
