James Liles, 81, of Osceola, AR went to be with the Lord on October 25, 2023 in Jonesboro, AR. He was born in Keiser, AR on April 26, 1942 to James and Annie Liles. He was the owner and operator of Liles Body & Glass. James enjoyed spending time with his family, going to the lake, working in his garden and hanging out at the river with his friends. James is survived by his four daughters, Donna (William) Percifull, Karen (Wade) Whistle, Sonya (Patrick) Walker and Kim (Jerry) Grissom; grandchildren, Felicia (Daniel) Owens, Nathan Goodman, Lauren Whistle, Leigh Anne (Drew) Chism, Amy (Cory) Fischer, Callie Whistle; Zackary Walker, Zane (Audrey) Walker, Cade Walker, Brooke Colbert, Blair Colbert, Ally Maness, Kendall Grimes, Brandon Grissom, Bradley Grissom and Blythe Grissom: great-grandchildren, Chance Owens, Levi Owens, Jude Owens, Hailey Lambert, Hannah Lambert, Abby Goodman, Luke Goodman, Knox Fischer, Quinn Fischer and Cayden Chism; sister, Linda (Jerry) Tharp; nieces, Jamey (Keith) Day, Trena Thurmond and many grandnieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Liles and his parents.

I'm so Sorry to hear James has passed. James was a good friend and a great guy. I worked for him for several years in his shop and we had some great times. James will truly be missed. My Prayers to the Family.
Girls I am so very sorry to hear about James ‘ passing . I always will remember him and Sue from Seminole Dr days . He was sweet and kind person . I enjoyed talking with him while would do work for me on my car . He was very proud of his girls . My deepest sympathy and prayers for each one of you . Remember and cherish the time you had with him and comfort knowing one day to be reunited as a family . Stay close to one another time is very short .

I am so sorry to hear about James passing. He was a true friend to all that knew him. I can say the same about his wife and they will continue to watch over their children in spirit. Lots of prayers for you all.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Liles family! He was a special guy who loved his family and friends. Had the pleasure to spend lots of afternoons watching Ole Man River roll by trying to solve the worlds problems! We got lots solved but not all but we will keep trying.

Mr Liles loved his family very much. He was always so pleasant to talk with and genuinely kind. He will be greatly missed by all of those who knew him. He is now at peace with his wife Sue, in Heaven.
