Debra Zane Coker, 65, of Batesville, Arkansas passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023.
She was born August 5, 1958 in Helena, Arkansas to Henry Lester Pyron and Shirley Hardin Pyron.
Debra graduated from the Helena-West Helena school system in 1976 and went on to study accounting at the Phillips County Community College.
While in high school and working at the Gene Boggs Theater in West Helena in 1974, Debra met David Coker from Elaine, Arkansas and they dated three years.
Debra married David Coker in 1977 at the West Helena Baptist Church; Son, Jason Cory Coker was born in 1980; they lived in West Helena until 1985 when they moved to Batesville, Arkansas.
Debra was a member of Ruddell Baptist Church in Batesville, Arkansas participating in church activities and working with children. She worked for the Independence County Court House for 19 years until retiring in June of 2023. She loved shopping, attending her grandson?s sporting events and cooking.
Survivors include her husband, David Coker of 46 years; their son, Jason Coker of Batesville, Arkansas; two brothers, Lester Wayne Pyron (wife, Beverly) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Brian Kelly Pyron (wife, Carolyn) of Denver, Colorado and one grandchild and the love of her life, J Calvin Everett Coker.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Debra Zane Coker's Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Ruddell Hill Baptist Church, Winkle Annex with Brother Tyler Bramlett officiating.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Ruddell Hill Baptist Church Building Fund.
