Prayers for the family of Doctor L'Heureux . May you find peace and comfort with the help of God. Death takes our loved ones but it can't take our memories He was a kind, compassionate and great surgeon that was a wonderful assest to Crittenden County. He helped my daughter with a broken arm and myself with surgery as well. When you are a nurse you get to know a doctor.

Guy was one of the first physicians to welcome me to Crittenden Memorial Hospital in 1982 and gave me the connection I needed for understanding all the dynamics of a new hospital. Guy had recently experienced the same transition and we became good friends. He was a very talented surgeon and even better man and friend. Jo Ann and I enjoyed many holiday dinner parties with Guy, Sunny, and the Westmorelands that will forever warm our hearts and bring smiles to sad days. We will miss his smile and remember all the good times. May Sunny and Tess take comfort in all the lives Guy touched and know how much he was loved and will be missed. Justin and Jo Ann Adler

My husband and I have known Dr. Guy for 15 years.
Dr. L’Heureux was a kind, honest and genuine man. He asked us to help look after his dear Sunny after he was gone.
I’ll never forget when he told me not to search for one big happiness, rather take all the little happiness that life offers and they will culminate into a bigger happiness.
Dr. L’Heureux didn’t talk very much but when he spoke, it was important to him and we could always learn from his words.
He will be missed.

Guy will be missed. We loved listening to stories about his childhood in Canada and his move to the States to practice medicine. We will miss too his deliciously grilled salmon and brisket. He was a fantastic grill master. He was always a gracious host and a kind, caring physician. We extend our prayers to Sunny and his family.

My prayers are with you Sunny and your entire family in this great loss. “Doc” was a good and kind man and a great friend. He was always up for a golf game and a good time. We had many good times on the course and he will be greatly missed. Over the years of our friendship he became a person I could always call for advice. He will be daily missed by his golf buddies.

Uncle Guy was very special man. He came into our life when he married my Aunt Sandy "Sunny" and I grew to love him very much. He made my Aunt truly happy and that made me happy. My husband and I will miss him terribly. Our thoughts and prayers are with My Aunt, my cousin Tess, and the rest of his family.

Guy was a friend to Cheryl, Ben and I from our first days in West Memphis. We always considered Guy as part of our family. We enjoyed Christmas together with Tess playing Santa distributing the gifts. Guy took care of our orthopedic issues, while I helped him with his medicine issues. He will be dearly missed, and I pray for him, Sunny and Tess whenever I think of them, which is often at this time. Guy was a fine man and made our time in West Memphis a treasure.

Dr. L'Heureur was my Dr. when I broke my arm and wrist. I was so upset, I had never broken a bone. He was so kind and attentive. He made a bad experience seem not so bad. He will be missed by many.

I remember Dr. L'Heureux when he first came to West Memphis. He treated my 5 year old son after being hit by an automobile. Dr. Guy was so gracious and kind and worked a miracle with this injury. My prayers go out to his family.

I had the great privilege of his friendship for forty years, and considered him family. He was the most loving and compassionate person to all that knew him. The world has lost a beautiful soul, but Heaven has acquired a special angel.

I am praying for Sunny and the family during this difficult time. May the Lord be your comfort.

Much Love.

My Mom managed Dr L'Heureux's practice for almost 30 years, so I've known him most of my life. He was a well-respected physician, but most importantly, a very humble and gentle person. He treated my breaks and bumps along the way, always with compassion and kindness.

Prayers for his wife, Sunny, and his family and friends, along with the many patients that he impacted in the community. We have lost a treasure.

RIP, Doc. I have no doubt that you've earned your wings.

Love and prayers,
