Shirley Faye Landis Capps, 83, of Searcy, Arkansas entered peacefully into eternal life on September 14, 2023. She was born on February 22, 1940 in Bald Knob to the late Earnest Doyle and Elva Alene (King) Landis. Shirley Faye was loved for her gentle spirit and her heart of compassion, always putting the needs of others ahead of her own. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Shirley Faye will be forever loved by her four children, Steve (Brenda) Blair of Searcy, AR; Beth (Scott) Bolman of Estero, FL; Gayla (Gary) Eichhorn of Orange Park, FL and Jason (Angie Throckmorton) Asikainen of Searcy, AR; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren and brothers, James (Brenda) Landis and Eddie (Diane) Landis both of Judsonia, AR and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Shirley Faye was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Junior Cleo Landis; two grandsons, Jayden Asikainen and Jakus Asikainen and two granddaughters, Stachia Landis and Misty Landis.
The family thanks all of those who have prayed for and supported Shirley Faye and the family during her illness. Visitation will be held at 9:00 am followed by a celebration of life service at 10:00am on Monday, September 18, 2023 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in Searcy. Brother Vincent Vire officiating. Interment will be at Fredonia Cemetery in Bald Knob, Arkansas.

I loved Faye & am so sad to hear of her passing. She was like a 2nd mom. I remember her & my mom, Sandy, running around together Just like me, Gayla, Theresa & Beth all did. I loved her so. Prayers for everyone.
