Ernie Hatwig, 64, of Paris, Arkansas passed away Monday, September 11, 2023 in Ft. Smith.

Ernie was born November 15, 1958 in Paris, Arkansas to his parents, Ernest R. Hatwig, Sr and Caroline (Nichols) Hatwig. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and worked as a farmer. He enjoyed playing cards, horseshoes, going hunting and fishing and watching wrestling. Ernest was a very loving, kind and caring person who would do anything to help somebody in anyway he could.

He is preceded in death by his parents mentioned above and a brother, Eddie Hatwig.

Ernie is survived by several cousins and many close friends.

A visitation will be held at Roller Funeral Home in Paris Friday, September 15, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 P.M.

A Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris with burial to follow in St. Benedict Cemetery in Subiaco.

Pallbearers will be Billy Joe Schwartz, John Walker, Harry Fletcher, Jason Walker, Billy Featherston and Dennis Willman.

Service arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
