David Leon Rackley, 82, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Baptist Hospital in North Little Rock, Arkansas. David was born on March 19, 1941 in Ida, Arkansas to the late William H. and Lettie (Seymore) Rackley. David was a veteran of the Army National Guard and for many years worked as a logger and drove a dump truck. He enjoyed logging, his horses, but most importantly, he loved spending time with his beloved family. David will be greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends.
David is survived by the love of his life for 63 years, Erma (McCarty) Rackley; his children, Don Rackley and wife, Allene, JL Rackley and wife, Sheila, Pam Partee and husband, Jerry and Faye Baker and husband, Harold; nine siblings, Hubert Rackley, William Rackley, Billy Rackley, Joann Hannah, Donna Fox, Kathy Youngblood, Carolyn Thomas, Joyce West and Ronny Rackley; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; along with many extended family and friends.
David is preceded in death by his parents, William H. and Lettie (Seymore) Rackley; two children, Brian Rackley and Kay Rackley and four siblings, Rachel Russell, Carl Rackley, Mitchell Rackley and Dale Rackley.
Graveside services are Friday, September 8, 2023 at 1:00PM at Friendship Cemetery at Ben Community near Drasco, Arkansas with Ronny Rackley officiating.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
