Michael Robert Gundolf, 71, of Benton, passed away on August 19. He was born on July 9, 1952 , in Hot Springs, to Robert Stokes Gundolf and Donna Ruth Goodnight. Mike graduated from Bryant High School and was an Air Force veteran. He enjoyed cooking for friends and playing his guitar around the campfire.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter, Cameron Hart (Chris Stowers) of Lonoke, brother Donnie Gundolf, of Benton, and sisters Vanessa Lovett (Jimmy), of Liverpool, Texas and Bobbi Willhite (Bob), of Jacksonville and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mike's ashes will be scattered at a memorial service to be planned later.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Towbin Veteran's Administration hospital in North Little Rock for the excellent care he received. We would also like to thank the Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home for their assistance during this time.
