of Mountain View, AR
May 25, 1934 - September 1, 2023
Hannah Dyke, 89, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on September 1, 2023. She was born May 25, 1934 to the late Ellis and Gladys (Coy) McKee in Johnson County, Indiana.
Hannah married the love of her life, Shirley Dyke, on June 17, 1953. They were married for sixty-nine years, they had a full and wonderful life together. Hannah and Shirley loved to travel. They traveled to Europe and many other places in their lifetime. The two of them enjoyed each other's company and the company of their loved ones.
Hannah was a lovely soul. She did not worry about what should have been or could have been, her philosophy in life was, ''When the time is right, it will be the right time.'' Hannah loved her home that she and Shirley built together. She loved her animals and the wildlife that came up to eat from their feeders. Hannah even enjoyed when the turkeys came up pecking on the window when their food ran out. She had a love for people. Hannah would do anything for anybody, giving of herself brought her great joy. She loved music and watching others enjoying music also. Hannah loved working in her flower beds when she was able. She said placing the rocks around the border of her beds reminded her of a jigsaw puzzle, the rocks had to fit just so. After retiring from the California VMB in 1976, Hannah spent her spare time volunteering at the Stone County Hospital. She also started Graffiti Busters in LA California.
Hannah is survived by her sister, Joyce Smith of Franklin, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.
Hannah is preceded in death by her beloved Shirley Dyke and her parents, Elis and Gladys McKee.
Hannah will be deeply missed by all of those who loved her.
