Judy Lynn Brewer Austin went to be with her Lord while at Superior Nursing Home in Conway, Arkansas on Monday, September 4th, 2023. She was born to James "Jim" and Bobbye Brewer in Conway on November 14, 1947. She accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and was a member of the Baptist faith. A 1965 graduate of Conway High School, she continued her education to attain a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the State College of Arkansas (UCA), a master's degree in mathematics at the University of Central Oklahoma and spent 39 years teaching mathematics in both Oklahoma and Arkansas. She enjoyed cross stitching, antiquing and traveling to visit family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Milo Austin; mother, Bobbye; sister-in- law, Yvonne White; nephew, Zachary Brewer; a special niece, Cara Cates (Aaron); great-nieces, Jill and Kali Cates; beloved friend, Marti Rankin; pets, Izzy, Bella and Sadie and a host of extended family and friends. She is predeceased by her father, Jim and brother, Sandy Brewer.
Visitation will be held at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home on Friday, September 8th, 5-7pm, with a graveside pavilion service officiated by Larry Pillow on Saturday, September 9th, 10am at Crestlawn Cemetery.
Special thanks to Superior Health & Rehab and Gentiva Hospice for their kind and attentive care for Judy during her last days.
Bobbye, I am so sorry to hear that you lost Judy. She was a sweet and wonderful person. I know it’s not easy but you will see her Jim and Sandy one day. Much love.
Judy taught my children and I did Inclusion Math with Judy for several years. She had a way with students who did not learn math easily. And she took many students “under her wing†and helped them in ways besides math.

You have suffered so many losses, my dear friend. I am so very sorry to hear about Judy. I can only imagine what it is like to lose your sweet girl. I wish I could be there to share in your grief. I am suffering from my own difficulties & cannot attend the service or visitation, but I am with you in spirit. I will be holding you in my heart & sending comfort to you & yours. I taught next door to Judy at CSMS for many years. Those were good days and I really enjoyed collaborating with her. She touched the lives of so many students, parents and teachers in all her years! She will be missed! You have my prayers and deepest sympathies!
Judy, I remember those sweet cousin days at Granny’s house, where the “four little girls†laughed, sang, pretended, and played. You were the best possible companion then; later you were a good woman shining light in the world.

I taught with Judy and have fond memories. She taught both of my kids often giving up her lunch to work with my daughter who developed a love of math because of Judy.
