Cheryl Lynn Foster Huffman, age 62, of Omaha, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023, surrounded by loved ones, with her hand held by her husband. She was born November 29, 1960, in St. Augustine, Florida to Elmer John "EJ" and Ann Denham Foster.
She was saved at the age of 46, was baptized, and became a devout member of Emmanual Baptist Church in Omaha, where she loved the Wednesday night lady's prayer group. She continued to serve the church in various ways including VBS and cleaning the church. She married Mike on March 22, 2008, in Ridgedale, Missouri. She was a home health nurse, CNA, and cafeteria cook. She was the most unselfish person anyone could meet, willing to help anyone in need with compassion. She loved her grandbabies so much. She was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Mike Huffman; her daughter and son-in-law, Dianna and Scott Reed; her mother, Ann Foster; her grandchildren, Jack and Caleb Reed and her sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda and Albert Walton and Donna and Mark Roser. She was preceded in death by her father and her infant son, Jack Allen Pappy.
Visitation was on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
The funeral service was on Friday, September 1, 2023, at Emmanual Baptist Church with Pastor Johnny Atchison officiating.
The interment was in Omaha Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Roy Williams, Scott Reed, Jimmy Hagood, Tommy Birmingham, Clyde Pelton and Bert Walton.
Honorary pallbearers were the men of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Ed Pierson, and grandsons, Jack and Caleb Reed.

I know that the loss of my sister in law has greatly affected both my brother, my niece Dianna, and many more people that loved her dearly.
