Steven E. Farris, age 68, of Flippin, Arkansas passed away Monday, August 28, 2023 at his home.
Steve was born in Kansas City, Kansas on November 1, 1954 to G.L. and Elaine (Burris) Farris. A lifetime resident of the area, he was a member of First Baptist Church in Flippin. He was retired from Union Pacific Railroad. He was owner-operator of Steve's Body Shop in Flippin. Steve was an avid racer and race fan and he coached the Flippin Trap Shoot Team. Most of all, he loved his family.
He is survived by his wife, Doreen of the home; his sons, Jason Farris of Flippin, Josh Farris (Beth) of Harrison; three grandchildren, Josh "Bub" Farris, Aiden Farris, Kylie Farris and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Donald Farris and Gary Farris.
Visitation for Mr. Farris will be 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Friday, September 1, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Flippin, with Bro. Aaron Lindsey officiating.
Interment will follow at Flippin Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dick Johnston, Greg Ott, Greg Alexander, Jeff Ross, Troy Collins and Jody Pinn.
Honorary pallbearers will be Deacons at First Baptist Church, Flippin and his close clay shooting friends.

My condolences to your family. Steve was a very hard-working and caring person. As well as being a man of God, he worshiped his family. Doreen my heart breaks for you, and if you need anything please let me know. I have had back surgery and I wear a stem cell stimulator implanted in my back, so I will not be able to attend the visitation or funeral. Just know you're in my heart and prayers.
