Lois Nell Kizer, 94, passed away in Newport on Saturday, August 19, 2023. She was born in Blytheville on November 7, 1928 to Harrison Monroe and Mattie Helen Liles Sr. Lois was a member of The Church of Christ. She loved helping and taking care of animals, especially her little fur babies. She enjoyed tending to flowers, gardening and working outdoors. Lois is survived her nieces, Linda (Jerry) Tharp, Annie Mae Music, Peggy Sue (Richard) Goldenbaum, Barbara Jo (Wendell) Gooding; nephews, James Lee Liles, Paul (Bonnie) Fleming, Jerry (Rose) Fleming; great nieces, Jamey (Keith) Day, Trena Thurman, Donna (William) Percifull, Karen (Wade) Whistle, Sonya (Patrick) Walker and Kim (Jerry) Grissom. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Conway Kizer; brothers, Harry Liles, James Curtis Liles, Abner Franklin Liles; sister, Thelma Fleming; nephew, Harry Liles Jr.; nieces, Helen Royce, Betty Jane Warren and Lois Faye Cullom; sisters-in-law, Arizona Liles, Annie Liles; brother-in-law, Preston Fleming. Lois had many great nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at Roller-Swift Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm.
