G. Rhea Taylor, 96, of Maumelle went to be with the Lord, August 17, 2023. He was born August 11, 1927 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Rhea G. and Josephine Elizabeth Taylor, both deceased. Rhea loved spending time with his family, playing golf with friends and having a manicured lawn.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Frances Jean Thomas (Robert). Rhea is survived by his loving wife of 75 years, Wilma Faye Taylor; two sons, Daniel Rhea Taylor (Sherri) and Douglas Anthony Taylor; grandson, Grayson L. Taylor (Valarie); great grandchildren, Addy, Reagan and Conner Taylor; brother, Paul David Taylor (Jeannie) and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 10 am Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at First Baptist Church of Maumelle, 100 Valencia Dr. with funeral services following at 11 am.

Just found out about Rhea’s passing. Remember him well from being neighbors for years on Reservoir Ct in LR. He was a good friend and a fine Gentleman. We always talked deer hunting. God bless and comfort the family always.
