Howard Morrow Jr. "Junior", age 89, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023 in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Junior was born May 30, 1934 in Yellville to Walter Howard and Thelma Opal Camp Morrow. He lived on the farm where he was born. As a youth, his mother made him watch chickens to see where they nested, sometimes half a day at a time.

The day after graduating from Yellville-Summit High School he left for Oregon with Uncle David Still and cousin, Guy Wayne Still. They worked on hops. Later he and Guy Wayne worked the pea harvest.

Later he went to work on aircraft of various types and at various locations around the United States and Panama. He made a career of working on aircraft, including B-52s, T-33s, C-3c and Lear Jets.

After that career, he returned to Yellville where he worked, while he and Sara formed Morrow Builders. They worked on and built many homes from Yellville to Mountain Home.

In later years he lived on a piece of the original family farm where he'd enjoyed his view of nature and wildlife, feeding the crows and watching the squirrels play.

Junior is survived by three sons, Jack Morrow (Pam) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Rick Morrow (Annette) of Pretty Prairie, Kansas; Terry Morrow (Pat) of San Antonio, Texas; two daughters, Jojeana Harper (Robert) of Mansfield, Texas; Vicki Ezell (Donald) of Flippin, Arkansas; nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sara Morrow; his son, Jimmie Morrow; brother, Charles Morrow; sister, Anna Faye Benton and a grandson, David Morrow.

A graveside service will be 10:00 am Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Cowan Cemetery near Yellville.

Pallbearers will be Larry "Goose" Brightwell, Donald Ezell, Mike Trent, Cody Guerin, Travis Ezell and Sawyer Guerin.
