Ernest Lee, 86, of Sherwood, Arkansas, formerly of Aubrey, Arkansas, passed away Friday, July 28, 2023. He was born May 17, 1937 to Robert Lee and Bertha Schafer Lee in Gill, Arkansas.
He is survived by two daughters, DeShea Hernandez (Rudy) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Michelle Heagwood of Sherwood, Arkansas; two sons, Robert Lee and Ernest Lee; two grandchildren, Christy Pitard, Monareesa Heagwood; two great-grandchildren, Zoie Heagwood, Payton Pitard and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Raymond Lee, Gene Kyzer and two sisters, Louise Sparks and Madeline Hess.
He loved his farm animals especially his chickens and cows, going to the casino and gardening. He loved going to the Aubrey store for breakfast.
Services will be held Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. also held at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mars Hill Cemetery in Gill, Arkansas. So very sorry for your loss. We loved him and are heartbroken.He always called me Nancy...lol...He told me one time I know your name isn't Nancy but you will always be Nancy to me. We have many memories of helping him with hay and things.

My mother Ida was married to Ernest's father Robert from 1974 til 1977 when Robert was killed in a car wreck. I was an only child, and Ernest was as close to a brother as I ever had, and I loved him so much. My sincere condolences to all of Ernest's family.
