Anna Marcille Hinesley

February 5, 1933 - July 24, 2023

Anna Marcille Hinesley was born February 5, 1933 to John and Bessie Perry in their home in Mozart, Arkansas. She passed away on Monday, July 24, 2023 at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Missouri.

She was a graduate of Rural Special High School in Rushing, AR. After high school she worked for the Donnelly Garment Company and the Nellie Don fashion label in the Kansas City garment district and then became a homemaker for the rest of her years. On November 4, 1953, she married Bernis Neal Hinesley in Arkansas and had two children, Danny Neal and Darren Kaye.

She enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking and gardening, as long as there weren't any snakes around. But more than anything else she loved caring for her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Darren Kaye; four grandchildren, Sarah O'Keefe of Indiana, Miranda of Orlando, Florida, Taylor of Raytown, Missouri and Cory of Kansas City, Kansas and a daughter-in-law, Carol Phillips Hinesley of Raytown, Missouri.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Bernis Neal Hinesley, her son, Danny Neal, her parents, John and Bessie Perry; sister, Pauline Ticer and brothers, Duane Perry, Hollis Perry and Darrell Perry.

A visitation will be held Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the Bethlehem General Baptist Church in Fox, Arkansas. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M. Brother Stan Sutterfield will officiate the service. Interment will take place at the Fox Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Jerry Perry, Kenny Perry, Kerry Perry, Ryan Perry, Eric Perry and Danny O'Keefe.
