Paula K. Phillips, 76, of Onia, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at her home. Paula was born Monday, November 25, 1946 in Storm Lake, Iowa to the late Paul Nixon and Imogene Andersen Nixon.
Mrs. Phillips attended beauty school in Sioux City, Iowa and was successful at it in Storm Lake, Iowa. She worked for Wal-Mart in Mountain View, Arkansas for over twenty years as a customer service representative. Paula enjoyed crocheting, loved animals, (particularly her donkey), loved the mountains and her family very much.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Nicholas Phillips of Springdale, Arkansas, Matthew Phillips (Beverly Jones) of Onia, Arkansas; one daughter, Lydia Sartain of Heber Springs, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Oliver, Ethan, Madison, Cassandra, Maxton, Bennett, Elias; one sister, Linda Myers (Lloyd) of Alta, Iowa; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Paula is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband of thirty-eight years, Mark Phillips.
Funeral services for Paula will be 11 AM Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas. Visitation will be one hour prior. Brother Junior Barham will officiate. Interment will follow at Pordue Cemetery (near Onia, AR).
Roller-Crouch is in charge of arrangements.
RIP Ms Paula , you have your wings so fly high ! You were a wonderful worker at Walmart ! I enjoyed the many talks we had ! I won't say "good by" it's till we meet again .
I never had the privilege of meeting Paula in person but I know her son. She was an amazing mother and will be greatly missed.
I met Paula at Walmart in 2022 having moved to the area and at the service desk. She was always pleasant and told me her dau was married to Ronnie Sartain, my cousin. She was always pleasant and I loved stopping to chat with her when time allowed. May you rest in peace.
Paula and Mark were a love story for forever. Sorry I cannot be there. Love to all. Aunt Jane
It's hard to put in words just the kind of person Paula was. I always tried to talk with her every time I went in and she was there. A great lady with a beautiful smile and so very friendly.
Prayer's for her children and grandchildren. God Bless You All.
She will be missed by the customers and her coworkers.
She was a neighbor to my in-laws at Onia.
Aunt Paula will be missed. I have great memories of visiting the farm, and seeing her animals. Prayers to Nick, Matt, and Lydia and all the grands during this time.
I remember her from Wal-mart. I didn't know her name, but she was always friendly and helpful. Prayers for her family and loved ones.

I'm sooo sorry to hear this. I only knew Paula at the customer service desk but it was like we were friends because we chatted each time I saw her. She will be missed.
