of Harrison, AR
August 28, 1949 - July 16, 2023
Kathryn Elaine Watts, age 73, of Harrison, Arkansas passed from this earthly life on Sunday, July 16th, 2023 at Countryside Assisted Living in Harrison. She was born in Buffalo Valley, Oklahoma on August 28th, 1949 to Vernon Willie Treat and Eudene Dobbins Treat.
Kathy attended the Harrison Faith Assembly of God Church in Harrison, Arkansas. Her strong faith and dedication to her Lord and Savior were uppermost in her life. Kathy, along with her husband Dan, was very active in their church, regardless where they were attending. They served in any capacity that was needed. Kathy enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles and shopping for home decor. Family meant the world to Kathy. She and Dan were always the first family members to arrive and assist in family affairs, whether sad or happy. Their nieces and nephews were treated as their very own babies. They loved them with all their heart and there wasn't anything that they wouldn't do for them. Kathy's kind and giving heart will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Survivors include her sisters, Pat Pemberton and husband, Sam and Lagatha Sutterfield; her little black poodle, Ernie, who held a very special place in her heart and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Eudene Treat; her husband, Daniel Watts, who passed away in 2020 and her siblings, Frankie Hatchett and Billy Wayne Treat.
Funeral services for Kathy will be 2:00 PM Thursday, July 20th, 2023 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Scott Brandon, Bro. Rick Watts and Bro. Donnie Horton officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 till 2:00 PM preceding the service. Burial will be in Marshall Memorial Gardens in Marshall, Arkansas, where Kathy will be laid to rest beside her husband Dan. Bearers will be Tim Sutterfield, Frank Sutterfield, Steve Watts, Isaac Watts, Jason Watts and Richard Watts. Honorary bearers will be Eric Watts and Sean Watts. At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
